Core Workflow
There are three high-level steps to working with Behaview:
- Define Skills and Roles for your Organization - define the Skills that are important to your organization, and Roles that exist within your organization. These Skills can be assigned to Roles and lay out the expectations for Staff in those Roles.
- Schedule and Perform Supervisions - schedule Supervisions for Staff against the Skills expected of them (based on their Role), and have Supervisors conduct these supervisions in-person or remotely.
- Track and Report on Progress - individualize subsequent Supervisions based on each Staff’s progress against their Skill requirements, and report on your team’s state of supervisions, mastery of Skills, and more.
As such, when starting off, you’ll want to define the Skills and Roles for your organization, and schedule an initial practice supervision sessions to see how it works. Once you have a decent understanding of the platform, you can then refer to these additional features to make supervision even easier:
- Skills Library - you can import BACB’s up-to-date task lists for BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs so you can get started quickly and remain up-to-date over time.
- Granular Permissions - define granular permissions for your Staff, so you can control who can do what in your organization.
- Custom Fields - define custom fields for your Staff, Roles, Teams, Session Plans, and Skills, so you can track additional information in consistent manner within your organization.
- You can then interact, search, filter, and view your custom fields like other fields.
- Reporting - track who is falling behind in Supervisions, and which Skills are being mastered vs. not, so you can adjust your organization’s training and supervision plans accordingly.
- Teams - organize your staff into teams so it is easier to understand your organization’s structure beyond roles (e.g. by location, by team, etc.)
- Cross-organization Reporting - Behaview makes it easy for a single user to be part of multiple organizations, thus having a single platform for all aspects of ABA supervision and management, and a single place to report from for BACB fieldwork requirements.
- Recommendation Engine - be notified of Staff that may be falling behind in supervisions so you can schedule a Supervision for them.
