What is Behaview?

Behaview is a platform for streamlining supervisions for Behavior Analysts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In ABA, successful behavior intervention relies on systematic and effective supervision of technicians that implement programs designed by BCBCAs. In fact, it is so vital, that the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requires regular monthly supervision for all technicians, and requires that supervision be data-driven, individualized, and well documented.

Supervision however adds significant administrative overhead for BCBAs—often unbillable hours— and can be difficult to do consistently and with high fidelity without a system in place. Behaview strives to be this system for BCBAs.

What does Behaview do?

The core problems Behaview addresses are:

  • Organization and Collaboration - Behaview allows BCBAs to define the Skills they want to track for their teams and technicians, and easily scheduling supervisions for technicians. Clinics can centrally manage their teams and paperwork, and BCBAs can collaborate with each other on supervisions.
  • Performing Supervision - Behaview provides a simple and intuitive interface for documenting supervisions with technicians.
    • Remotely - Supervisees and technicians can request supervision and upload videos which BCBAs can then asynchronously comment on and provide feedback.
    • In-Person - BCBAs can document supervisions in real-time using any device, and easily collect data on technician performance.
  • Tracking Progress - Behaview allows BCBAs to have an individualized view regarding technicians’ mastery of skills, as well as an overview of their team’s progress in supervisions and skill acquisition.
  • Compliance and Security - Behaview is deployed into two distinct regions (Canada and the United States) in order to comply with local data residency laws, in addition to complying with local privacy laws (e.g. PIPEDA). Behaview is also built with security in mind, using encryption in-transit and at-rest, with role-based access control to ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive information.
